President Ram Chandra Paudel Pays Homage to Krishna Mandir and Historic Sites in Patan

In a symbolic display of reverence for Nepal’s rich cultural heritage, President Ram Chandra Paudel visited the historic Krishna Mandir in Patan this morning. The President’s visit to the sacred site was part of his itinerary to explore and pay homage to some of the significant cultural landmarks in the city.

During his visit, President Paudel also took the opportunity to explore other historic sites within the vicinity. His itinerary included visits to Sundari Chowk, Mulchowk, Keshav Narayan Chowk, and Patan Museum. The President’s Press Advisor, Kiran Pokharel, confirmed the details of the visit.

At the Patan Durbar Square premises, Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Chiribabu Maharjan, extended a warm welcome to President Paudel. The President’s presence at the revered cultural site attracted attention from locals and tourists alike, highlighting the importance of preserving Nepal’s historical legacy.

During his visit to Patan Museum, the Museum’s Acting Executive Director, Sureshman Lakhe, and other officials provided the President with insightful briefings about the significance and historical context of the site. The Patan Museum, known for its exquisite art and artifacts, holds a treasure trove of Nepal’s artistic and cultural heritage.
