From School Singing to Studio Sessions: Simran Pariyar’s Inspiring Journey
Simran Pariyar, a talented young singer from Tintale in Baglung-6, has seen her life transformed in just a month, thanks to her remarkable singing talent. Her journey from singing on the way to school to recording 27 songs in Kathmandu and capturing the hearts of fans both at home and abroad has been nothing short of extraordinary.
It all began on August 4 when a vlogger posted clips of Simran’s songs on YouTube. Before this, she was an unknown talent, but now she frequently travels to Kathmandu, records songs, and captivates audiences with her enchanting voice.
Over the past month, Simran’s star has risen rapidly, with her songs setting YouTube trending charts on fire. From her humble beginnings, she is now being compared to established singers of the younger generation, such as Rachana Rimal, Samiksha Adhikari, and Elina Chauhan.
The power of music has brought about a significant change in Simran’s life, and her talent has not gone unnoticed. Baglung Municipality recently honored her with a cash prize of Rs 50,000, recognizing her exceptional contribution to the music industry.
Simran’s journey is particularly remarkable considering her financially disadvantaged background. She never imagined that her life would change so dramatically in such a short time. Simran expressed her astonishment, saying, “About a month ago, nobody knew me. Now, people recognize me, take photographs with me, and create TikTok videos.”
Simran is now flooded with offers to record songs, and she has already made her mark with renditions of popular songs, including a female version of Pramod Kharel’s hit song ‘Uslai Paauna-2,’ which trended at No. 1 on YouTube and has garnered over 4.4 million views.
Another song that has gained immense popularity is ‘Pani Pareko,’ produced by Arjun Sapkota, with 3.1 million views on YouTube. Simran also performed in the video for this song.
Excitingly, Simran is preparing to release a female rendition of Santosh Sunar’s hit song ‘Chhamak Chhamak,’ eagerly anticipated by her growing fan base.
The credit for bringing Simran into the music scene goes to the popular YouTuber Bhojraj Thapa. Impressed by her singing, Thapa interviewed her for his blog, and her renditions during the interview quickly went viral. Convinced of her talent, Thapa arranged for her to come to Kathmandu for recording.
Simran plans to relocate to Kathmandu after completing her Class 12 examinations to pursue music studies while pursuing her undergraduate degree. Her remarkable breakthrough in the Nepali music scene is a dream come true for her mother, Manisha, who now accompanies her on her frequent trips between Baglung and Kathmandu.
Simran’s passion for music was nurtured from a young age, inspired by her father’s singing. Her success story serves as an inspiration to aspiring talents everywhere and showcases the transformative power of music in one’s life.
