T20 WC: Zimbabwe to face India on Sunday

The Super 12 stage is almost over, and the final day will be jam-packed with three back-to-back games. The third of the three is India vs Zimbabwe clash.

India will lock horns with Zimbabwe in their last Super 12 match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday, November 06 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

India have unquestionably won three of their four Super 12 games, but they haven’t yet given their all in this competition. In their most recent match, they defeated Bangladesh by the slimmest of margins—just 6 runs—and moved closer to a semifinal berth.

Zimbabwe, on the other hand, dropped a game that everyone predicted they would win. The Netherlands won easily by 5 wickets after restricting them to a score of just 117 runs.

India is just one win away from confirming a berth in the semi-final. A win over Zimbabwe will see them become the 2nd team from group 2 to qualify for the knockout match.

While Zimbabwe’s hopes of making the T20 World Cup semi-finals for the first time are all but over after a damaging five-wicket defeat to the Netherlands in Adelaide.
