Nepal ‘A’ emerged victorious against Canada-11 in a thrilling encounter. In the second match of the one-day series held at Mulpani Cricket Ground (upper), Nepal ‘A’ displayed excellent performance to secure a win with just two wickets to spare.
Opting to bat first, Canada-11 managed to put up a decent total of 240 runs on the board, losing all their wickets in 49.5 overs. However, Nepal ‘A’ was up to the challenge as they successfully chased down the target of 241 runs, reaching it with eight wickets down in 49.1 overs.
Key contributions from Nepal’s side included Sandeep Joral’s impressive 66 runs, followed by Basir Ahman’s 52 runs, Rashid Khan’s 47 runs, and Arjun Kumal’s 40 runs.
