Rajiv Gurung (aka Deepak Manange) Appointed Minister after Leaving Unified Socialist

Rajiv Gurung, popularly known as Deepak Manange, who recently departed from the CPN (Unified Socialist) and demanded recognition as an independent parliamentarian, has been granted a ministerial position.
Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey has chosen Manange to serve as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place today at 3:30 PM.
Having secured victory in the election as an independent candidate, Manange was previously associated with the Unified Socialist Party. However, citing the latest political developments, he announced his departure from the party on Sunday.
