Gold Price Surges by Rs 1,500 Per Tola in Domestic Market
The price of gold has surged by Rs 1,500 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today, marking a significant increase on the last trading day of the week. With this rise, hallmark gold is now being traded at Rs 148,100 per tola, up from Rs 146,500 per tola on Thursday.
The price of worked gold has also seen an increase, being fixed at Rs 147,400 per tola today.
In addition to the rise in gold prices, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 40 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs 1,730 per tola, up from Rs 1,690 on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The increase in precious metal prices reflects ongoing market fluctuations and is being closely monitored by investors and traders in the domestic market.
