Gold Prices Hit Record High in Domestic Market

The price of gold has reached a new all-time high in the domestic market, following a steady rise in the international market. Today, the yellow metal is trading at Rs 152,600 per tola (11.66 grams), marking a significant increase.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold was traded at Rs 149,600 per tola on Friday, the last trading day of the previous week. However, on Sunday, the opening day of this week, the price surged by Rs 3,000 per tola, reaching its current record level.

In addition to gold, the price of silver has also seen an upward trend. Today, silver is priced at Rs 1,810 per tola, up by Rs 50 from last Friday’s rate of Rs 1,760.

The rising prices of precious metals reflect ongoing trends in the global market, influencing local rates and impacting consumers and investors alike.
