Balen Urges Support for Metropolitan Initiatives; PM Pledges Commitment

In a significant development at the 29th Metropolitan Day event, Mayor Balen Shah passionately appealed to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal for crucial support in addressing three pressing issues affecting the metropolis.

Mayor Shah, demonstrating the metropolis’s unwavering commitment to progress, specifically requested Prime Minister Dahal’s assistance in tackling the persistent waste management problem. Emphasizing the need for sustainable solutions, the mayor highlighted the importance of a collaborative effort to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment for the residents.

Furthermore, Mayor Shah sought the Prime Minister’s backing in river management initiatives within the Kathmandu region. Acknowledging the significance of efficient river management for the city’s overall well-being, Shah emphasized the need for comprehensive strategies to address potential challenges.

In a heartfelt plea, Mayor Shah also advocated for compensation for the residents of Tinkune, aiming to alleviate the hardships faced by the local community.
