Bhimsen Thapa award to National Innovation Centre

This year’s National Luminary Bhimsen Thapa Memorial Award is to be presented to the National Innovation Centre.

A meeting of the National Luminary Bhimsen Thapa Memorial Foundation held today decided to confer this year’s Bhimsen Thapa Memorial Award on the Centre having Mahabir Pun as the founder.

The meeting presided over by Foundation Chairperson Prof Dr Parthibeswor Timilsina decided to present the award to the Innovation Centre on coming July 25 on the occasion of 249th birth anniversary of Bhimsen Thapa, informed Foundation’s Secretary Laxman Thapa.

The award carries a purse of Rs 100,000. The award last year was given away to the Bhakti Thapa Memorial Foundation.
