Chinese Ambassador Meets Foreign Minister Shrestha

Chen Song, the Ambassador of China to Nepal, paid a visit to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues concerning the relationship and cooperation between Nepal and China. Shrestha, who previously held the position of Home Minister, recently assumed the role of Foreign Minister in Prime Minister Prachanda’s government. This transition occurred after the dissolution of the alliance with the Nepali Congress and the formation of a new partnership with the UML.
