CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli Assaulted During Sankalp Yatra in Dhankuta

DHANKUTA, Dec 14 – In a shocking incident during his Sankalp Yatra on the central hilly highway, CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli was assaulted when a person unexpectedly punched him in Mahalakshmi Municipality 5 Legua in Dhankuta.

The assault occurred as Oli entered Dhankuta from Bhojpur, where Mahesh Rai from Legua approached the UML President and threw a punch. Rai, who was initially standing in line to welcome Oli, took an unexpected turn, leaving security personnel and bystanders stunned.
