December 16 Marked for Prasai’s Revelation of “Citizen’s Government” and “Sanatan Hindu Rastra”

Durga Prasai, a prominent medical entrepreneur and campaigner for “Vedic Sanatan Dharma,” announced plans to establish a “Citizen’s Government” on December 16. Prasai, known for his advocacy of ancient Hindu principles, aims to symbolically inaugurate the Hindu nation by lighting a lamp in Basantapur, Kathmandu.

During a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday, Prasai underscored the significance of re-establishing the monarchy as a means to ensure peace and unity in the country. He expressed optimism that the movement for systemic change would gain momentum, with a specific reference to a lamp lighting ceremony in Mechi on February 13.

Prasai stated, “The lamp lit in Mechi on February 13 will be ignited by the hand of the former monarch Gyanendra Shah in Basantapur, Kathmandu, marking the inception of a Hindu nation. This will not only fortify the ongoing people’s rebellion but also serve as a tangible manifestation for the impending system change.”

Despite Prasai’s advocacy for monarchy, it is notable that former king Gyanendra Shah did not participate in the campaign-organized program in Balkhu, Kathmandu, on November 23, despite being in the capital.

Prasai anticipates that the movement for systemic change will gain traction starting February 13, emphasizing the need for unity and the establishment of a government based on the principles of “Vedic Sanatan Dharma.”
