Dr. Swarnim Wagle Appointed Vice-President of RSP

Dr. Swarnim Wagle, the elected representative from Tanahun-1 in the House of Representatives, has been appointed as the Vice-President of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP). The decision was made during a recent meeting held in Mahottari.

Dr. Wagle, who also serves as the head of the finance department within the RSP, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. The appointment underscores the party’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team with capable and accomplished individuals.

Rabi Lamichhane, the current president of the RSP, welcomed Dr. Wagle into the leadership fold. Previously, DP Aryal held the position of vice president; however, in accordance with the party statute, a new deputy president has been appointed.

The restructuring of the party leadership doesn’t stop with Dr. Wagle’s appointment. Kabindra Barlakoti, Sumana Shrestha, and Bipin Acharya have been named Joint General Secretaries, working alongside the existing General Secretary, Dr. Mukul Dhakal.

Furthermore, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has been entrusted with the role of Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Party. This comes as part of the party’s efforts to streamline and fortify its parliamentary presence. Notable leaders in the parliamentary party include Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar.
