Durga Prasai Supporters Disrupt UML Event, Vandalize Dozens of Cars in Jhapa

A car belonging to a UML cadres was broken into and vandalized in the parking lot during a program attended by UML leader Mahesh Basnet in Jhapa.

The car was vandalized during a meeting of the National Youth Union Nepal Arjundhara Municipal Committee in Arjundhara, where Durga Prasai’s supporters infiltrated the gathering of identityists.

Eyewitnesses reported that approximately a dozen vehicles parked outside were vandalized while Mahesh Basnet was delivering a speech. There were also attempts to disrupt the program.

Bikram Subba, who has a close association with Durga Prasain, was arrested near Durga Prasain. Subba even organized a rally in Birtamode after an incident where black soot was thrown at Prasai.
