Foreign Minister Saud Holds Diplomatic Meetings at UN General Assembly

Foreign Minister NP Saud, currently in New York to attend the UN General Assembly, engaged in significant diplomatic discussions during his visit.

Minister Saud met with UN Under-Secretary-General Jean-Pierre Lacroix to discuss matters pertaining to the training and security of Nepali security personnel deployed in various countries as part of UN peacekeeping missions. The Nepali mission in the United States shared this information.

Additionally, Minister Saud held talks with Ville Tavio, the Finnish Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, where they deliberated on bilateral relations, mutual interests, and opportunities for cooperation.

On the sidelines of the UNGA, Minister Saud also had a meeting with Dr. Ivica Dačić, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia. The discussions revolved around strengthening bilateral relations.

Furthermore, Foreign Minister Saud engaged in talks with his Romanian counterpart, Luminița Odobescu, to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation between their respective countries.
