Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal Heads to Kunming for 5th China-South Asia Cooperation Forum
Kathmandu, July 22 — Foreign Secretary Ms. Sewa Lamsal is set to depart for Kunming, China today to participate in the 5th China-South Asia Cooperation Forum.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a press release that Secretary Lamsal will deliver a keynote speech at the Forum on July 24, 2024. During her stay, she will also engage in bilateral meetings with high-level dignitaries on the sidelines of the Forum, fostering deeper ties and cooperation between Nepal and other participating countries.
The China-South Asia Cooperation Forum is a significant platform aimed at enhancing collaboration and understanding between China and South Asian nations. Secretary Lamsal’s participation underscores Nepal’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation and addressing shared challenges.
Ms. Lamsal is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on July 27, 2024.
