Gold Prices Surge by Rs 2,000 in Nepal

In a notable rise today, gold prices in Nepal’s domestic market surged by Rs 2,000 per tola.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is now priced at Rs 136,500 per tola. Meanwhile, standard gold is trading at Rs 135,850 per tola.
This marks a sharp increase from Wednesday’s prices where fine gold was at Rs 134,500 per tola and standard gold at Rs 133,850 per tola.
Despite the significant jump in gold rates, silver prices have held steady at Rs 1,645 per tola. It is worth noting that a tola is approximately 11.66 grams.
