Gold Prices Witness a Slight Dip After Days of Stability

In a slight deviation from its recent stability, the gold market in Nepal experienced a marginal drop in prices on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. Fine gold, which had held steady at a record high of Rs 126,000 per tola over the past three days, saw a decrease of Rs 1000 per tola, now being traded at Rs 125,000 per tola. Similarly, tejabi gold witnessed a decline, with prices dropping to Rs 124,400 per tola from Rs 125,400 per tola on Tuesday.

This dip follows a period of relative stability where gold maintained its value at Rs 126,000 per tola on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. While the reasons behind this slight decrease remain to be fully analyzed, market dynamics and international trends could be contributing factors.

Moreover, the silver market also experienced a fluctuation in prices. After witnessing a Rs 10 increase per tola on Tuesday, silver prices saw a Rs 20 decrease per tola on Wednesday, now being traded at Rs 1,465 per tola.
