Gold smuggling case: Court orders to release Gurung on bail

The Kathmandu District Court has issued an order to release on bail Jeewan Gurung who was arrested for investigation into the gold scam.
A bench of district judge Madhab Prasad Adhikari today issued the order to release Gurung on bail amount of Rs 1.5 million, information officer at the Kathmandu District Court, Chandra Prasad Panthi shared.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) had arrested Gurung on February 26.
