‘Government Has Failed; Now Let’s Make Madhav Nepal the PM’
Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr. Shashank Koirala expressed his dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s’ governance, labeling it a failure. Koirala went on to assert that it is now time to appoint Madhav Nepal as the Prime Minister, adhering to the prior agreement between political parties.
“The prime minister himself is not satisfied with the functioning of the government,” Koirala remarked in Kawasoti today, highlighting what he sees as a clear indication of the current government’s shortcomings. Emphasizing the need for a comprehensive approach and economic considerations in governance, he stated, “‘Prachanda has failed in both these aspects; thus, Madhav Nepal should be made the Prime Minister as per the previous agreement of the parties.”
Speaking to the media in Kawasoti, he further mentioned that Sher Bahadur would be the Prime Minister after Madhav Nepal. ‘This is a consensus government, and I believe everyone should adhere to the prior agreement,’ emphasized Koirala.
