Government to Recall Underperforming Ambassadors and Mission Heads

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda,” announced on Tuesday that the government is in the process of recalling ambassadors and heads of missions who have shown deficiencies in their performance. The announcement was made during the Prime Minister’s address to the nation on the completion of one year since the formation of the government.

Highlighting the importance of effective mobilization in investment and tourism through economic and diplomatic missions, Prime Minister Prachanda called on all missions to enhance their efforts in these crucial areas. He stressed the need for a proactive approach to boost economic growth and promote tourism, key elements in the nation’s development strategy.

“I call on all economic and diplomatic missions to enhance their efforts in investment and tourism. We are also making preparations to recall ambassadors and heads of missions who are not meeting performance expectations,” stated Prime Minister Prachanda.

The Prime Minister underscored that achieving a dynamic economy requires attention not only to government policies but also to expenditure. He emphasized the government’s commitment to increasing capital expenditure as a means to stimulate economic activity and foster growth.
