Gulsan Jha Confident in World Cup Qualification

Gulsan Jha, the dynamic all-rounder of the Nepalese cricket team, has expressed his optimism about Nepal’s chances of qualifying for the T20 World Cup. Following an impressive victory over Singapore in the Asian Qualifiers of the T20 World Cup today, Jha is confident that Nepal is on the path to securing a spot in the global tournament for the first time since 2014.

“After 2014, now is a good chance for us,” Jha stated with a beaming smile, “we are confident and hopeful that we will qualify for the World Cup.”

The qualifying competition, featuring eight competitive teams, kicked off in the vibrant city of Kathmandu. Out of these eight teams, the top two will earn the coveted tickets to the T20 World Cup, making every match a critical step on the road to the global stage.

Jha showcased his exceptional skills during the match against Singapore, making a significant impact. His standout performance included taking wickets in the first and fifth balls of the eighth over, which proved to be pivotal in the team’s success.

Speaking about his role in the team, Jha revealed, “From 3/4 of the game, I am clear about my role. Sir has given me the role, and that’s what I’m doing.” His dedication to fulfilling his assigned role has been a key factor in Nepal’s journey to World Cup qualification.
