Hari Krishna Karki Appointed as New Chief Justice, Oath Ceremony at 5 PM

President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed Hari Krishna Karki as the new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. The appointment follows the unanimous endorsement of Karki’s candidacy by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.

Karki’s appointment as Chief Justice was confirmed by President Paudel after careful consideration of the committee’s recommendation. The President’s press advisor, Krian Pokhrel, informed that the oath of office and secrecy will be administered to Karki at 5 pm at Shital Niwas.

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee thoroughly reviewed Karki’s credentials and conducted a two-day hearing before unanimously endorsing him for the esteemed position. During the hearing, Karki presented his action plan on Thursday and participated in a comprehensive question and answer session on Friday, showcasing his dedication and competence for the role.
