Indian Foreign Secretary Misri calls on CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Nepal
Visiting Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri paid a courtesy call on CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal today.
Foreign Secretary Misri held the meeting with leader Nepal at the latter’s residence in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, shared Chairman Nepal’s personal secretary Mohan Gautam.
During the meeting, the two discussed matters of bilateral interests, cultural ties between the two countries and further bolstering cooperation for development among others, according to Gautam.
Misri, who arrived in Nepal on Sunday, for a two-day visit at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Sewa Lamsal, called on President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on the day of his arrival.
Similarly, he held courtesy meetings with Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and also former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on the same day.
The Indian Foreign Secretary today held a courtesy meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister for Finance Bishnu Paudel and Minister for Home Affairs Ramesh Lekhak.
