Indian Foreign Secretary Misri in Kathmandu

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has arrived in Kathmandu today for a two-day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal. Secretary Lamsal received him at the Tribhuvan International Airport, marking the commencement of this important diplomatic engagement.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two foreign secretaries will engage in discussions covering a broad range of issues pertinent to Nepal-India relations, including matters of mutual interest and cooperation. This visit is part of the ongoing diplomatic exchanges between the neighboring countries, reinforcing the strong ties that have been established over the years.

During his visit, Foreign Secretary Misri is scheduled to meet with several distinguished officials from the Nepalese government. These meetings are expected to strengthen the already robust relationship between the two countries, which share deep-rooted civilizational, cultural, and people-to-people connections.
