Jhalanath Khanal Refutes Rumors of Split in United Socialist Party

Jhalanath Khanal, a senior leader of the United Socialist Party, has strongly denied rumors of a potential split within his party. In a statement released on Wednesday, Khanal called for unity among party members and dismissed the rumors as unfounded and malicious.

Addressing concerns stirred by recent developments in the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Khanal emphasized the solidarity of the United Socialist Party. He refuted claims suggesting his involvement in an alleged attempt to divide the parliamentary party with six members of parliament.

Khanal labeled the rumors as “orchestrated by nefarious elements with ulterior motives,” aimed at creating discord within the party ranks. He condemned the misinformation as “deliberate propaganda” and called on party leaders and cadres to remain vigilant against such tactics by reactionary forces and opportunists.

The senior leader also urged his party to continue supporting the current direction of the party and to prepare unitedly for the upcoming party convention. “Let us rally behind our collective cause and unite in readiness for the upcoming party convention,” Khanal stated, reinforcing his call for unity and collective effort.
