Locals Set Fire to Bus After Collision with Cyclist in Sarlahi

Locals in Sarlahi took drastic action on Thursday following a tragic collision between a bus and a cyclist. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 am when a bus with registration number Gha 2 Kha 1440, en route to Malangwa, struck cyclist Jugal Mahato in Kavilasi Municipality-10 Salempur.

Mahato sustained serious injuries in the accident, prompting enraged residents to set fire to the bus involved. The blaze completely consumed the vehicle, leaving it charred.

Jugal Mahato is currently receiving medical treatment at Malangwa Provincial Hospital for his injuries. Sarlahi Superintendent of Police, Dayanidhi Dahal, has assured that a thorough investigation into the matter is underway.
