MCC CEO Alice Albright Meets with PM Prachanda to Discuss Nepal-US Cooperation

The Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Alice Albright, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ this morning.

The discussions at the meeting, as reported by the PM’s secretariat, encompassed various facets of Nepal-US cooperation, with a particular focus on the MCC projects.

Earlier on Monday, MCC CEO Alice Albright also held meetings with Chairman of the CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli, as well as Minister for Energy Shakti Bahadur Basnet and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Prakash Jwala. During these meetings, the leaders explored strategies for the successful implementation of the MCC projects.

Alice Albright’s visit to Nepal coincides with MCC’s entry-into-force celebrations, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between Nepal and the United States in advancing development initiatives.
