Minister Jwala Pledges Strong Commitment to MCC Project

Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Prakash Jwala, emphasized the need to trust the implementation of the MCC project, which was approved by the sovereign parliament and the government.
During a meeting with Alice Albright, the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), who is currently visiting Nepal, and Dean Thompson, the American ambassador to Nepal, Minister Jwala affirmed that the project will indeed move forward.
“The government of Nepal and the sovereign parliament have already approved the MCC project, and I assure you that the Nepalese government is fully committed to its successful implementation,” Minister Jwala conveyed to the American delegation. “While there may be some challenges within the project, we believe that as we commence construction on schedule, many of these issues will naturally resolve themselves.”
Alice Albright expressed her satisfaction with the progress and echoed her country’s support for the MCC project.
“I have come to Nepal during the implementation phase of the MCC project, and I am delighted with the positive outlook and commitment of the Nepalese government,” she stated.
