Entrepreneurship is in State’s priority: Industry Minister

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, has said the State has kept the policy of providing subsidies for entrepreneurship in priority.

Minister Bhandari said so while inaugurating the Fortune Resort and Wellness Spa amidst a programme here today. The resort and spa is constructed by the ICT Group of India. It is located in the premises of the 143-feet-tall statue of Kailashnath Mahadev at Suryabinayak municipality-10, bordering with Kavrepalanchok district.

On the occasion, the Industry Minister said that the government will provide subsidies and concessions to the industry-oriented entrepreneurship on the basis of production.

“Development of industries, promotion of mines and mineral industries, entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises is the need of time. Let us stress on entrepreneurship development including agriculture produce sectors as well. Let us identify the production areas. The government provides subsidies and concessions on this based on production,” he reiterated.

Minister Bhandari argued that entrepreneurship development increased the employment opportunities, stressing on attracting more foreign investment in the industry and tourism sectors.

“Construction of private hotels and resorts will contribute to expanding the tourism destinations,” he said, stressing on the need of formation of national capital through the development of entrepreneurship.
