Expressing his commitment to effective governance, Chairman Dahal emphasized his intention to lead the Upper House in close coordination with both the ruling and opposition parties. “I will leave no stones unturned to meet the expectations and fulfill my responsibilities in coordination with both the ruling and the opposition parties,” he affirmed. “I will turn challenges into opportunities to achieve the goal.”

The event was marked by the presence of notable figures, including National Assembly Deputy Chairperson Urmila Aryal and General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey, who warmly welcomed Chairman Dahal at the Office in Singha Durbar.

The election process witnessed significant support from the ruling coalition, with five parties casting their votes in favor of Chairman Dahal during the National Assembly elections held earlier in the day.
