
Nepal International Theatre Festival to Showcase 17 Plays from 12 Countries


The third edition of the Nepal International Theatre Festival (NITFest) is set to feature 17 plays from 12 countries. Organized by Mandala Theatre, the festival will take place from March 19 to 25 in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Bharatpur, and Belbari.
Festival Coordinator Kedar Shrestha stated that out of 115 global submissions, 17 plays were selected for the event. This year’s festival is themed “Theatre for Social Transformation: Light of Indigenous Wisdom.”
The festival will bring together over 100 international artists, with performers from Scotland, China, and Germany hosting three workshops. In addition to theatre performances, the event will also feature art exhibitions, musical performances, and dance showcases.
