‘Nepal Not in Crisis, But in Our Hands’

Nepali Congress General Secretary, Gagan Kumar Thapa, addressed the issue of public perception and leadership responsibility during a recent Central Committee meeting. Thapa emphasized that despite the challenges faced by the nation, it was not in crisis, but rather under their leadership.

Thapa reminded attendees of the aftermath of the 048 elections when the Nepali Congress assumed power. He acknowledged that citizens had questioned the behavior and integrity of political leaders, considering such skepticism to be natural. Thapa noted, “No matter how unconventional it may seem, even during critical times, we must remember that the country is in our hands.”

Furthermore, Thapa highlighted the importance of delivering on promises made to the people. He stressed that citizens evaluate daily whether leaders have fulfilled their commitments. In his closing remarks, Thapa underlined that the country was not in crisis; it was under their guidance at all levels of government.
