Nepal Reaches 100 Runs, Stands at 112 Runs for 4 Wickets

In the Asia Cup 2023 match, Nepal has reached a total of 100 runs against India. Nepal achieved this milestone while losing 3 wickets in just 21.3 overs. However, after reaching the 100-run mark, they suffered the loss of their fourth wicket.

Kushal Malla was dismissed after contributing just 2 runs to the team’s score. Currently, Aasif Sheikh and Gulsan Jha are at the crease, looking to build on Nepal’s innings.

The captain, Rohit Poudel, was bowled out by India’s Ravindra Jadeja for a mere 5 runs. Prior to that, Bhim Sarki was also bowled out by Jadeja for 7 runs in 16 overs.

On the batting front, Onpar Kushal Bhurtel of Nepal played a significant role by scoring 38 runs. He hit 3 fours and 2 sixes in just 25 balls before being dismissed by Shardul Thakur in the fifth ball of the tenth over. Bhurtel and Asif Shaikh had a partnership of 65 runs in 9.5 overs for the first wicket.

Bhurtel’s impressive batting included consecutive fours and sixes against India in the sixth over. As of the latest update, Nepal’s current score stands at 112 runs for the loss of four wickets in 26.3 overs.
