Nepal Sets 116-Run Target for Malaysia

In a thrilling showdown at the ACC Women’s Premier Cup 2024 semifinals, Nepal has set a formidable target of 116 runs for Malaysia. After winning the toss, Nepal opted to bat first, displaying a commendable performance by securing 115 runs while losing 6 wickets within the stipulated 20 overs.

Leading the charge, Nepal’s captain, Indu Barma, showcased her prowess with the bat, scoring 29 runs off 37 balls, embellished with 2 boundaries. Additionally, Dolly Bhatta’s explosive innings contributed significantly, amassing 25 runs off just 14 deliveries, including 1 four and 2 powerful sixes.

However, Nepal faced an early setback when opener Sita Rana Magar departed for 6 runs, leaving the team at 10-1 after 4 overs, caught lbw.
