Nepali Congress Calls Central Working Committee Meeting for December 28

The Nepali Congress has announced the convening of a Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting scheduled for December 28. The decision was taken during a Central Work Execution Committee (CWEC) meeting held in Sanepa, as revealed by Min Bishwakarma, the chief of the party’s Central Information, Communication, and Publicity Department.

“A CWEC meeting held at the central party office of Nepali Congress in Sanepa on Friday decided to call a CWC meeting for December 28,” stated Bishwakarma.

This move comes in light of the upcoming polls to elect members for the 20 vacant posts in the National Assembly, scheduled to take place on January 25.

The Nepali Congress has decided to postpone the Mahasamiti meeting originally slated for January 1 to 4. The reason cited for this delay is the party’s focus on preparations for the National Assembly elections.

“With this decision, the Mahasamiti meeting will now be held at Gadawai in Lalitpur on February 19 to 22,” Bishwakarma confirmed.

Elaborating further on the decision, Bishwakarma mentioned, “The CWC meeting has been called by postponing the scheduled Mahasamiti meeting for the preparations of the NA elections.”
