NEPSE Climbs Nearly 6 Points, Market Witnesses Mixed Performances

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a positive trajectory on Wednesday as it gained 5.91 points, closing at 2,076.50 points. Similarly, the sensitive index showed promising growth, surging by 2.27 points to close at 372.27 points.

Trading activity remained vibrant with a total of 12,363,027-unit shares of 302 companies changing hands, amounting to Rs 4.25 billion.

In today’s trading session, Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS), Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited (BNL), and Panchthar Power Company Limited (PPCL) emerged as the top gainers, experiencing a price surge of 10.00 percent each. Conversely, People’s Power Limited (PPL) faced a setback, being the top loser with its price dropping by 5.81 percent.

By the market’s close, total market capitalization stood at Rs 3.26 trillion, reflecting the overall health of the market.
