NEPSE Sees Marginal Retreat, Closing at 2,068.90 Points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a minor setback today, concluding at 2,068.90 points, marking a marginal loss of 1.93 points or 0.09% compared to the previous day’s closing.

In contrast to the recent downturn, where the index experienced a more substantial drop of 17.23 points, today’s trading session showed signs of recovery. The market opened at 2,072.09 points and demonstrated fluctuations throughout the day, reaching an intraday low of 2,059.49 and a high of 2,085.36.

Trading activities were dynamic, involving 303 different stocks in a total of 101,504 transactions. The total volume of shares traded reached an impressive 11,658,110, resulting in a turnover of Rs. 4.29 Arba.

The market capitalization currently stands at Rs. 32.13 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.10 Kharba.

Market analysts suggest that despite the marginal dip, the overall performance indicates resilience and potential for recovery in the coming sessions. Investors are advised to stay vigilant and monitor market trends for informed decision-making.
