NEPSE surges by 27. 90 points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a notable increase of 27.90 points, closing at 2,058.00 points on Wednesday. The sensitive index also saw a substantial rise, climbing by 3.76 points to conclude the trading day at 384.29 points.

Trading activity remained robust, with a total of 10,500,498-unit shares from 306 companies changing hands, amounting to a transaction value of Rs 4.04 billion.

Top Gainers: Dibyashwori Hydropower Ltd, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited, Peoples Hydropower Company Limited, Bhagawati Hydropower Development Company Limited, and Sonapur Minerals and Oil Limited emerged as the top gainers of the day, each witnessing a remarkable price surge of 10.00 percent.

Top Loser: Conversely, Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd experienced a decline, being the top loser with its price falling by 5.10 percent.

Market Capitalization: At the close of the trading day, the total market capitalization stood impressively at Rs 3.19 trillion, reflecting the overall strength and resilience of the Nepalese stock market.

Investors and market participants are keenly observing these developments, and the positive momentum in NEPSE is expected to generate increased interest and confidence in the financial markets.
