NEPSE Takes a Dip, Closing Down 3.24 Points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a downturn, dropping by 3.24 points to settle at 1,965.93 on Thursday. Similarly, the sensitive index witnessed a decline, falling by 0.37 points to end at 348.18.

Trading volume was robust with 6,312,552 shares from 303 companies changing hands, amounting to a transaction value of Rs 2.36 billion.

In today’s trading, Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) led the pack with a significant price surge of 9.99 percent, marking it as the top gainer. On the flip side, Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SABSL) faced the steepest decline, with its share price falling by 6.09 percent.

The overall market capitalization of NEPSE stood firm at Rs 3.11 trillion by the closing bell.
