New battle against corruption already started: PM Prachanda
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda has viewed that a new battle against corruption has already begun.
Inaugurating rural electrification programme and the road construction in Mahabharat Rural Municipality of Kavrepalanchowk district, PM Prachanda, who is also CPN (Maoist Center) Chair, appealed to the people for support in the fight against corruption similar to the support for the people’s war.
It is impossible to initiate a new era of socialism and end of injustice without development and prosperity, and for this we need your support today as in the past. I appeal to the people for the support and help in the fight against corruption, PM Prachanda said.
He said that he has been according much importance, from the day he assumed the mantle of the power, particularly to three words- justice, equality and rights. “Those who suffered injustice need justice, equality and rights, and this constitute social justice,” said the PM.
Anomalies and corruption have taken a monstrous form in the country. Until we uproot corruption, Nepali people cannot see the day of happiness and prosperity, he argued.
PM Prachanda assured of a new record similar to the one related to the end of load-shedding with the help and support of the people.
He said that the country has entered the age of power export within a few years after the end of the power outage period. The PM shared that agreement pertaining to power production and export will be made during his upcoming India visit.
