Former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadue Deuba, KP Oli, Deputy Prime Minister Purna B Khadka, Foreign Minister Narayan P Saud, and Finance Minister Prakash S Mahat were recognized for their pivotal roles in endorsing and supporting the upcoming summit.

The meetings, held behind closed doors, delved into strategies to address pressing issues related to children’s welfare, sustainable development, and peace. With Chief Minister Dilli Chaudhary being acknowledged as the driving force behind the summit, it became evident that the collaboration between Satyarthi and the Nepali leadership aims at making a significant impact on these crucial global issues.

The Laureates & Leaders for Children Summit, organized by the Lumbini Government, is expected to bring together a diverse array of global development experts, UN officials, and representatives from governmental and non-governmental sectors.
