Oli’s Friendly Call to Deuba from Dadeldhura Amidst Political Journey

In a surprising turn of events during his extensive journey from Jhulaghat in the west to Chiwabhanjyang in the east, Chairman of the UML party, KP Sharma Oli, made a phone call to Nepal Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba. The call took place as Oli reached Dadeldhura, the home district of Deuba, and was captured in a 42-second video shared on social media.

Oli shared the video on his Facebook page, expressing his delight at being in the “beautiful Dadeldhura,” the home district of his political counterpart, Sher Bahadur Deuba. The video captures the friendly conversation between Oli and Deuba, where the latter extended a warm welcome to Dadeldhura from Kathmandu.

In his Facebook post, Oli narrated the moment, stating, “Beautiful Dadeldhura! Home district of my friend Sher Bahadur Deuba. I thought to call him when I got here. He mentioned that even though he is in Kathmandu, he extends a warm welcome to Dadeldhura. Thank you, Sher Bahadurji!”

During the phone call, Oli initiated the conversation with the patriotic greeting, “Jay Nepal,” and informed Deuba about his current location, saying, “I called from the vicinity of Ganyapadhura. A little beyond Ganyapadhura, we are currently situated slightly below Dadeldhura market.”

Expressing the pleasant atmosphere in Dadeldhura, Oli asked Deuba about the situation in Kathmandu, stating, “It’s pleasant here. How is it over there? This is what came to my mind when I visited your district!”
