People’s Expectations Unmet in Development Progress: Arju Rana

Nepali Congress MP Dr. Arju Rana Deuba has drawn attention to the shortcomings in budget implementation in Nepal, stressing the need for effective action.

Speaking in the House of Representatives on Monday, Dr. Deuba highlighted the gap between budget allocation and actual development outcomes, urging the government to prioritize implementation.

“Despite Parliament’s efforts to pass the budget, citizens are yet to see the desired development due to implementation challenges,” she remarked.

Dr. Deuba emphasized the importance of both allocating funds appropriately and ensuring their effective utilization.

She also questioned the government regarding the directive issued by the Agricultural Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee on the 15th of Kartik, specifically concerning payments to dairy farmers.
