PM Dahal Embarks on Visit to Lhasa Amid China Tour

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is set to depart for Lhasa, the capital of China’s autonomous region Tibet, today.

Prime Minister Dahal, who has been on an official visit to China since last Saturday, will leave for Lhasa from Ching Chong city this morning.

According to local time, PM Dahal is expected to arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport at 12:05 pm this afternoon.

During his visit to Lhasa, PM Dahal is scheduled to participate in an interaction event at the Office of the Consulate General of Nepal in Lhasa. Additionally, he will visit prominent landmarks in Tibet, including the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister is slated to hold a bilateral meeting with Wang Junzheng, Secretary of the Communist Party of China’s Xizang Autonomous Regional Committee.

PM Dahal is accompanied by a delegation that includes Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prasad Saud, Minister for Drinking Water Mahindra Roy Yadav, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala, among others.

Earlier, PM Dahal had traveled to Ching Chong city from Beijing on Tuesday, where he engaged in discussions with central members of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and inquired about agricultural initiatives undertaken by the Ching Chong Metropolis.
