PM Prachanda Praises Late Leader Nirmal Lama as an ‘Ideal Politician’

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ lauded the late Nirmal Lama as an ideal politician during the 24th Memorial Day celebrations held at the CPN (Maoist Centre) headquarters in Parisdanda today. The event, dedicated to remembering Lama, saw PM Prachanda reminisce about his significant contributions to Nepal’s communist movement.

Speaking at the function, PM Prachanda said, “Nirmal Lama was an inspiring personality whose ideas, especially around the years 2033-34 BS, played a pivotal role in shaping the discourse on people’s revolution in Nepal.” He highlighted Lama’s integrity and his unwavering commitment to the working class, describing him as “transparent, open, and firm.”

The event was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha, among other dignitaries, who also paid tribute to Lama’s enduring legacy in Nepali politics.
