Prakanda pressurizes the government to implement the three-point agreement
Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma ‘Prakanda’ spokesperson of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) met with Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand today.
In a meeting, he demanded the immediate release of its leaders and activists from jail.
Prakanda insisted that the government should address their demands.
He said that since the current government has resolved the legal complications and dismissed the cases against CPN leaders and workers and released them from prison, the government has been pressured to implement it quickly.
In response, Home Minister Khand also said that the government is sincere and committed to solving the problem.
The then KP Sharma Oli-led government agreed on three-point demands of the Biplav-led CPN, which came to the peace process, has not yet been fulfilled.
