Preliminary Results Show Nepali Congress Leading in Ilam-2 By-Election

The Election Commission has announced preliminary results for the recent by-election in Ilam-2, with Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Khadka currently in the lead. As per the latest count, Khadka has garnered 1,643 votes.

Close on his heels is CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nembang with 1,601 votes. Meanwhile, Milan Limbu from the Rastriya Swatantra Party has received 305 votes, and Independent candidate Dakendra Thegim has secured 437 votes.

The final results will be confirmed once all votes have been tallied.
