UAE officially Invites President Paudel to COP28

President Ramchandra Paudel warmly welcomed Abdulla Saeed Mubarak Jarwan Alshamsi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nepal, during a courtesy call at the Presidential residence today.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed matters related to strengthening the bilateral relationship between Nepal and the UAE. They also explored opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation to foster mutual growth and prosperity for both nations.

Recognizing the importance of addressing climate change challenges, President Paudel and Ambassador Alshamsi also engaged in discussions on potential areas of collaboration to combat climate issues and promote sustainable practices.

Similarly, during the meeting, Ambassador Abdullah bin Jarwan Al Shamsi extended a formal invitation from the President of the UAE to President Ram Chandra Paudel to participate in the Global Summit on Climate Action. This summit marks the official launch of the Emirates Climate Conference 28 COP, scheduled to take place in the UAE in November.
