Prime Minister Acknowledges Government’s Shortcomings, Vows to Prioritize Unfinished Projects

In a candid address to the nation, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda conceded that the government has fallen short of fulfilling its promises, citing concerns over unfinished infrastructure projects. Speaking from the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ office at Singha Durbar on Tuesday, Dahal emphasized the need to shift focus from existing accomplishments to pending developments.

“I acknowledge to the citizens that the government has not met expectations,” said PM Dahal, expressing unease regarding incomplete infrastructure projects. He emphasized a self-examination that goes beyond assessing the current state of the nation to pondering over its untapped potential.

“It is with this sense of concern and introspection that I make this public declaration,” he added.

Despite the acknowledgment of shortcomings, PM Dahal asserted his commitment to addressing developmental challenges and unveiled plans for new policy initiatives and budget formulations. He pledged to resolve issues hindering progress while acknowledging exceptions for predetermined and unavoidable obstacles.

In a bid to enhance governmental efficacy, the Prime Minister assured the public that the administration would refine its working methodology.
